My Story: I started my career in finance and quickly found I enjoyed helping people make confident decisions, especially when the choices feel big. Mortgages, equity release and protection can seem complicated, so I focus on making things clear and manageable. I set up Greenshoots Financial in Bathgate to offer straightforward advice and steady support. I take time to understand what you’re looking to do, your timescales, and what matters most to you. I’ll then explain your options in plain English, answer your questions, and guide you through each step at a pace that feels comfortable. How I Work: I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I’ll listen first, then I’ll review the options available and talk you through what they mean in practice. I’ll keep you updated, explain what I need from you, and outline what happens next, so you always know where things stand. I’m CeMAP qualified and I hold the Certificate in Regulated Equity Release (CeRER). Greenshoots Financial Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Life Outside Work: Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. And if you’ve visited the office, you may already know Betsy and Ben, our much-loved office dogs. My Story: I’m a CeMAP-qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser supporting clients across Kilcreggan, Helensburgh and the surrounding areas - helping you get the right mortgage and protection in place, without the stress. I’ve worn various hats in my career - Royal Navy, media, beauty, travel and more. Each one taught me what makes people and businesses tick. The brand Greenshoots Financial was born over coffee with Donna years ago. She was building a brokerage that felt approachable, experienced and genuine and need a brand to represent that. What started as me leading marketing naturally grew into supporting with operations and, over time, stepping into advice myself. It felt like the next step - using what I’d learned to guide people more directly. Life Outside Work: If I’m not working, I’m outside - usually in the garden or out with my dog (who’s 100% convinced the world revolves around him).

My Story: I began my journey in the financial services sector approximately five years ago, a plunge I'm glad to have taken after spending several years in property lettings. I approached Donna at Greenshoots feeling very apprehensive and unsure as to where I would start the process of getting a mortgage set up.
