Raising Standards In Specialist Lending

Big news for the Greenshoots Financial team

We’re proud to share that our colleague Collette Campbell has been nominated at the British Specialist Lending Awards 2026 in the Adverse Credit category, supported by Quantum Mortgages.

This nomination is a huge achievement and a well-deserved recognition of the work Collette does every day to support clients who may feel their homeownership journey is out of reach.

Collette’s passion has always been helping people secure their first home, particularly when the odds feel stacked against them.

Many of the clients she supports have experienced credit challenges or have been turned away elsewhere. Instead of accepting that outcome, Collette takes the time to understand each client’s situation properly. She works through the details, explores specialist lending options, and looks for practical solutions that give people a real opportunity to move forward.

That persistence can make a genuine difference. For many clients, it means the chance to step onto the property ladder when they thought it might not be possible.

The British Specialist Lending Awards recognise individuals and businesses who raise standards, challenge the market, and make a meaningful impact within the specialist lending sector.

Being nominated in the Adverse Credit category highlights the dedication Collette brings to supporting clients with more complex circumstances. It also reflects the importance of specialist mortgage advice in helping people access the right solutions for their situation.

The judging panel will review nominations on 19 March 2026, with the awards ceremony taking place on 14 May 2026 at the Hilton London Bankside.

“This nomination means a lot to me. The clients I work with often come to us after being told they can’t get a mortgage, so helping them realise that owning a home is still possible is incredibly rewarding. Every situation is different, and I’m passionate about taking the time to find the right solution for each person. I’m very grateful to be nominated, and proud to be part of a team at Greenshoots Financial that cares so much about doing the right thing for clients.”

Everyone at Greenshoots Financial is incredibly proud of Collette and the work she does for clients and colleagues alike.

We are all behind her as the judging approaches and look forward to celebrating the achievements of everyone nominated across the specialist lending market.

Good luck, Collette.
